1. What do the words thesis and dissertation, mean?

Thesis
:a statement or theory supported by arguments. eg: the author’s central thesis is that freedom is incompatible with equality. is a long written essay submited for higher university degree.

Dissertation:
a long essay on a particular subject especially for higher university degree.

2. What is the difference between a thesis and a dissertation? The diference is that in

a thesis, you should demostrate and confirm by arguments(references) that somenthing could be diferent, and in a dissertation you can speak or write about a particualr subject. And both have the similar aspect to get a higer degree university

The process is when your thesis must be approved by the professor in charge and accepted by the other members of the student's committee. The final draft of the thesis should be prepared in strict accordance with the instructions given in the Style Guide for Thesis available at the Office of the Graduate School
